Being a foodie & originally catering trained throughout the season I regularly cook a variety of game dishes . Our Clay Shoot Gundog days are designed for trainees hoping to work their dogs during the forthcoming season . An opportunity to sit your dog up during 3 clay drives , experiencing the sound of live shoot & testing their patience & steadiness. Each drive we train our dogs on typical shoot day scenario retrieves with hunting & sweeping up exercises. These days provide a huge insight on how a driven day is played out and of course enjoy a shoot elevenses
Our mock shoot introduction days are a must for anyone new to our fabulous sport & way of life. Sponsored by @ Chanctonbury Game Limited & @BASC South East & The NGO , along with my shoot captain & gamekeeper you will be taught the code of practice of a beater & picker up , shoot etiquette, code of practice of a shoot day , good game handling & lots more.
